Product Description

This lightweight wading shoe features our Cleat Base Midsole, which allows the addition of specially designed, case-hardened "STL" Cleats. Laying flush with the "Dark Grey" polypropylene felt sole, each Cleat Base is strategically placed, tapped and ready to accept "STL" Cleats. Unique "Micro-Screen" ports allow for drainage while blocking scree. The leather upper is water-resistant and, coupled with Chota's Exclusive QuickLace? System (see image below), provides superior lateral support. (A package of 28 "STL" Cleats is provided. Required tools: 1/4" nut driver.) Available in men's sizes 05-14. For women's sizing, please subtract one and a half sizes from your normal size. Always round up. Color: Tan / Olive

Twilight Bedspread

It's the BEST!!!!! The picture is SOOOOOO accurate that I took the picture to a fabric store and picked out fabric to make a headboard. I wasn't able to see if it matched perfectly because this was a Christmas gift. On Christmas day, we put the comforter set together and WOW!!!!! It matched the color of the fabric on the headboard (dark purple on the comforter) absolutely perfect! It looks as though they came from the same material. So far, the quality is great and the recipient is super happy! Great price!

Very happy with this set, it's a great colour and looks really good. Yes, I bought this because it was in Twilight but I also love the colour purple. Very pleased. It's also a darker purple than shown in the image.

Perfect from the first step!

Right out of the box these shoes were perfect!I loved the look of the shoe and knowing they were Frye's, decided to endulge myself. I hesitated to wear them at first because I thought I'd need to break them in. However, the first time I did I wore them for at least 11 hours straight and my feet felt great!I would say the sizing is accurate. I usually take a 7.5 but sometimes need to push to an 8. I ordered 7.5 in the Fryes and they feel like they were custom fit for me.

Frye Mule

This is my second pair. My shoemaker lost the original pair which I brought in for unevenly worn heels. They were great! I wore them a great deal and was not easy on them. They "broke in" and molded to my feet nicely.This second pair seems to be taking exceptionaly long to soften up, but I love them just the same.Great look, versitile.

I read the reviews prior to my purchase and was worried about shoe size/fit. I used the shoe size guide and measured my feet and the shoes fit perfectly. Yes they are heavy, but rugged, durable and stylish. Great buy and awesome shoe.

My favorite boots

I love my Frye boots! I own several pairs of the 12R Harness boots and they are so comfortable. They do run a little big, so I always order a half size down (I generally wear an 8, but in Frye boots I order a 7.5), but I have also found that are a little narrow around the toe area. I have narrow feet to begin with, so if you have wider feet, you may run into some trouble.If your boots are tight in a couple of areas, I will also suggest getting your boots professionally stretched by a cobbler. I live in a rather remote mountain town that doesn't have a shoe repair shop, so I bought a wooden shoe stretcher and some spray to stretch out the few spots that were tight. It worked really well and now I have room for all of my toes so that they aren't squished.These boots look great with everything - jeans, corduroy pants and long skirts especially. If you are looking for some boots with a little attitude, I highly recommend them!

Comfortable and stylish boots

Bought these in my regular size, which gives a "roomy" fit. Considered getting a size smaller, but felt it would be too tight on my bunions, and also felt I wouldn't be able to wear a decent-weight sock. They are breaking in beautifully. My husband (who knows about stuff like this) explained to me that the sliding in the heel was the proper fit and would stop as the boots were broken in (he was right!). He also said that if the boot is snug in the heel when you try it on, it is not a proper fit. Also, the tan color is a beautiful distressed leather.

The Comfort of Frye

These are, by far, the most comfortable boots I have ever owned! I am a huge fan of Dansko clogs, and these Frye boots are just as comfortable and sturdy! They run a bit on the large side, about a half size difference. You will love them!!!!!

Great Boots!!

I bought these boots for my daughter a few weeks ago and loved hers so much I just ordered some for me.They are high quality leather,comfortable and well made.They're well worth the price and I expect them to last for years.I have a very high instep yet have no problem getting these boots on.They hit just where the calf starts to expand so they're great for girls with larger calves as well.It's a perfect height just between knee high and ankle boots.These boots are a gorgeous tan/brown distressed leather and my daughter says they feel even better after they're worn awhile.All great quality leather eventually "molds" to the foot as it softens.These timeless classic boots will never go out of style and are perfect with jeans,shorts and dresses.I can't wait for Summer to wear them with cute Summer clothes too.Great boots well worth the money.Go ahead and treat yourself if they're tempting you.You won't be disappointed.I'm contacting the people at Frye and suggesting they make this boot in even more colors.I know I'd buy more.:)

LOVE LOVE LOVE this boot. Leather is very thick and nice. Put on right out of the box, and fit was very good. I have large calves, and the boot was still a good fit! Great for dresses or jeans. Bought the size I usually wear in a shoe, and sizing was spot on. Extremely well made. These boots will last for many years and it was an awesome bit of luck to find such a good sale on Amazon. I have seen that this fall also has many low heel boots, so I am looking forward to wearing these A LOT at work!

I bought these because of the lighter colored soles, or rather the unvarnished soles. However, when they arrived they're weren't as pictured. They do have the darker soles. But kept anyway as they were a great deal on sale.

Awesome purchase

Just received my order today and I am in LOVE. I was a bit scared to order shoes over the internet, but I called a million stores and couldn't find these boots anywhere. Summer is here so....First I will say to follow the advice and definitely order a half-size smaller than you would normally wear. I didn't listen and ended up having to deal with returning the first pair, which was annoying. My fault though for not listening. I own a pair of Frye Daisy Dukes, and those are a half-size smaller than my normal size so I should have known better. Anyway, these boots are exactly what I hoped they would be. I got mine in saddle. The color is gorgeous. I was worried about them being too orange-y, but they are not orange at all. The leather is beautiful and so is the wooden heel. I was suprised that the heel was finished and shiny. And the boots are lighter than I was expecting them to be. They are no heavier than other boots I own. They were comfortable the first time I wore them. I love them so much I am wearing them around the house right now. I don't want to take them off. I will definitely be planning my outfits around these boots for weeks to come. If you are on the fence, I would highly recommend getting a pair. They look rugged, but they feel exquisite when you slip them on! My friends are gonna be super jealous when they see these.

I bought my first pair of Fryes in 1989 -- i still wear them sometimes.These boots are super comfy. Soon after I bought them I spent four hours walking around town. No blisters, no problems. I wear them all the time -- except in the heat of summer.

Best boots ever

I have had these boots for 5 years now (I have them in both black and brown) and they still fit and feel great. I have had them each resoled once. The leather is soft but durable, and wears well. They sort of have a cowboy rugged feel, but still enough style to wear them with a skirt. I read the review about the wide calf area. I didn't find this at all (I don't think I have big calves (I weigh 120) but who knows. I find they are one of the few boots that fit well under a tighter boot cut jean. They are not "snug" around the calf, but the boots don't "show" or "snag" (meaning there is enough room to wear under (not tucked in) a pair of jeans (or at least the ones I wear). I still get compliments on these kickers. Gotta love that. FRYE makes a great shoe.
