Nice planter, and very solidly built. A little shallower than another I have of the same ice, but a lot better looking. I would not plant a shrub of a larger size in it. I like the unfinished wood for growing food items.

This knife is amazing - it holds an edge extremely well. It is a thick knife, the picture is a little deceptive - this knife is about an inch thick through the handle. This is a military knife - as such it is beefier and tougher than your regular pocket knives. Overall I love my XM-1 and wouldn't trade it for any other knife.

If Only ALL Benchmade Knives Were This Great

I bought one of these about, oh, 8 years or so ago, when the steel was the exceptional M-2. Maybe it got too expensive, who knows, but D-2 is hardly a step down. But both are far superior to 154CM, which, to me, doesn't take that great an edge.But M-2 and D-2 DO take and hold the best edge I've ever encountered, and this is STILL my favorite knife of all time. There's nothing CLOSE to the way this baby nestles in the hand - hands of all shapes and sizes. Simply put, IT FEELS GREAT. I've never asked all that much of it, but I'm confident it could handle anything I asked of it, short of prying and other abuse. It might even do that, but who wants to risk a great knife like this one?This knife is, if anything, even BETTER than any description I could give it. THIS IS THE ONE YOU WANT AND DESERVE.

best blade for the buck!

If you have anything less than a Benchmade Nimravus for a fixed blade combat knife, you are wrong! Great blade, 154CM steel, grips feel good. It's nice and thin and fits well in the hand, also very light weight.

Benchmade "Griptilian" Tanto

This is by far my favorite Benchmade knife in the "Blue Class" of knifes. It's a great tool and has awesome blade characteristics as well as a great grip...hence the name "Griptilian." It has so much beautiful detail as well as its serrated blade which could cut through thick rope real quickly!!!! I love this knife!
