The TSN-770 Series is part of the next generation of Kowa spotting scopes. Excellent optics, compact, very good build quality.

This scope is compact, smaller and lighter than the TSN 883, very well made and optically superb. I use the 30X fixed eyepiece and the image quality is all you could hope for. It's an excellent spotting scope for birding (which I suspect is what most purchasers will use it for). The only minor nit pick is that the coarse focus knob is a bit stiff for my taste, though this is probably intentional. The fine focus is smooth, light and precise and what I use most of the time. Brightness and image quality are remarkable.My preference has always been for a fixed eyepiece in the 30X range, which gives you adequate magnification and a relatively wide field of view (wider than the zoom even when at 20X). In addition, my experience has been that fixed eyepieces are always superior optically to zooms, though zooms certainly do have some advantages. Regardless, with the 30X eyepiece this scope is remarkably good. I highly recommend it.

My skin craves this stuff!

I have used 3 jars of this creme and my skin absolutely loves it. I use this as my night cream. I have combination skin and while the creme seems a bit thick & greasy at first, that goes away quickly as it sinks in and your skin feels silky. The scent is light and natural. Most importantly for me is that the ingredients are organic.

The screen is SOOOO dim I can not read text. I had a D 600 for 9 years. My unit was trashed by an exceptionally visous person. I KNOW what it should look like and my computer tech agrees with my accesment. The fact that I am visually impaired dose not limit use of all other computer. I bouught one in 1979 - 10 meg - $27,000; one in 1982 $3,500; one in 1983 $5,000 (with printer); one in 2000 $2,300; one in 1998 $2,300 [dell 600]; 2001 $4,000 [really loaded]. I KNOW what a screen should look like. EVERY computer, some monochrome, I have owned is aproximately 10 times better than this defective unit!

Beautiful Contemporary Fixtures

These fixtures are perfect for the bathroom in our finished lower level. I wanted something a bit modern but not too cold-looking and these fit the bill! They are very well made and packaged. Catfish mailbox

I was so excited to get this fish. It was a Christmas gift. It arrived on time and I peaked in the box before wrapping it and giving it to my Daughter and Son in Law. She was very excited about the fish until we took it out of the box. The bottom of the tail had all the paint rubbed off. I was upset and told her I would return it. She refused because she loved the mailbox so much. I wish I would have removed it from the box instead of peaking before I wrapped it.

Great But

The directions on putting this item together are very confusing. The sizes of the bolts and screws are difficult to understand. They need to package the bolts screws and washers for each step together so you can follow the instructions. The bolts have a number at the top however different size bolts had the same number. I love the machine. But this company needs to talk to Sauder on how to make instructions to build something this big.

Good basic home gym

So far I like the product. It is what I was looking for to complete my home exercise room.The only issue I have is that the 'press arm' feature gets in the way of the overhead pull-down. It also is difficult to use the seat when you are facing the machine because of the same reason.That aside I would purchase it again.As for assembly, it took about 3 hours to complete. If you have basic knowledge of putting things together it should be no problem, otherwise, I would suggest you find someone to assemble it.

I have the TSN-884 (straight) hooked up to a Panasonic GH2 via the TSN-VA3. If you use the TSN-DA3stmount you really dont need the adapter rings unless you just want a tighter fit locked in. The verticalalignment of the DA3st is just high enough for the GH2. I removed the small vertical stop plate to allowa tad more height. The regular DA3 has a longer vertical bar or the angled bracket (DA3-88A) may be an option too.I have tried a Voigtlander 25mm, 14-140mm and a the 100-300mm. The 100-300mm could only extend to 200mm.I am also waiting for the 20-60x eye piece that I ordered. Maybe there is more room with that setup vs the VA3.Also, with the ETC mode on the GH2 you can film HD video with no vignetting.The 100-300mm (at 200mm) gave easily ~250 yards range for a small bird.The VA3 is only 14x so the range with the 20-60x is probably ridiculous lol.

Amazing Birding Scope

I have been a birder for decades and have always dreamed of a spotting scope of this caliber. From the first view, the Kowa 883 produces a bright, ultra sharp image to the edge of the field at all magnifications. Using the 20 to 60 zoom and the fast ruff and fine focus is so easy that there is no learning curve. I taught astronomy for 32 years and had nothing with this ease of use. Maybe Kowa should build telescopes with the technology they use for spotting scopes? My wife and I both agree this is an amazing product.

On the short list of the best but expensive

My wife and I (birders) have had this scope for about a year. Love it. Great combination of reasonable weight and size with excellent optics and pleasurable view. It comes with a well made fitted protective cover that allows the scope to be used on tripod without removing the cover. The only caveat we have is that the scope is quite expensive. There are other brands that are also expensive and possess reputations for quality. Having tried out a number of scopes, we chose this one and would do so again after using it in the field.The one thing we soon found problematic was "finding" our desired subject with the angled eyepiece and the "finder" line cast into the scope was not helpful. We found a solution by me making a bracket to hold our Leupold 10x20x-40mm compact scope above the Kowa and using it as our finder scope. See the photo on the Amazon product page. (This photo is also on Amazon's Leupold product page with explanatory notes.) We recently bought a Celestron 52303 Regal Refractor 100mm which is an excellent scope for the price.

Fitss Perfect!

This fit my son (in his 30's) perfect. He will be the Easter Bunny for a huge Parish Luncheon on Easter Sunday this year and probably for many years to come, and we decided to buy the costume instead of Renting it. The price was great too. The only down side, which we have already resolved, is the Vest and Bow Tie for the Costume are very poor quality. We opted to just buy an inexpensive Blue Paisley Vest and matching Bow Tie in a 4 XL from Amazon to replace this horrible yellow and red Vest that was totally inadequate. Since the price on the Costume was so low, I felt spending another $20.00 was justified to make this Costume look much better. I will probably add a Easter Butonier to the Vest and Bow tie to add a little more Easter Color to it.
