I BUILT IT BY MYSELF!!

the shed arrived on a pallet, in 2 boxes. both were really heavy. i opened the boxes, and got out the floor. measuring the actual dimensions for the floor, i made a deck to hold it, with posts set in concrete. the directions call for 2 guys to build, and a third to read the direction, but i didnt have that option. the third guy should go find lifetime products, and help them write a better manual.the shed went together fairly easy, and i used a few hand tools, and a small step ladder, like you'd have in your kitchen. directions were straightforward, although the images on some parts, need to be redrawn. shed went up, in 2 1/2 hours, again, this was by myself. the hardest part is getting the doors on. i used a long handled shovel, leaned against the doors, to hold them up, while i placed a piece of 2x4 under the door, so i could access the cotter pins. once the gabled piece goes up, the doors will support themselves.when it was all done, i found i had dozens and dozens of screws, washers, and some hardware left over. this seems to be normal, as every piece was installed, as per directions. the door latch is a bit tricky, as the diagram isnt really accurate, or descriptive. other than this, the shed went together quickly, and i had no missing, damaged or incorrect parts. i did have extras, but nothing was shorted.well worth the money, and it really doesnt need three guys to build. one guy with a few tools, and a half a brain, should be just fine. :P

Terrific shed

I replace my 4' x 4' shed with this one hoping I could just push my mower into it without folding the handle. No such luck. Walls are much thicker than steel shed and 8' x 5' includes the roof overhang so interior dimensions are somewhat less. Harder to put together than video of man and wife team assembling it would indicate. That said, it was much easier than other sheds I have assembled. Withstood hurricane Irene without being blown over and more importantly, kept everything inside dry, despite the horizontal rain. Very pleased with this purchase.

Cute and useful

We bought this shelter to put it on our backyard. It looks very well there, people think when they see it that it's a doll house for our girl. Very useful, too, I put there the bikes, christmas tree and many other things.
