A Great Little Pump

This pump and the corresponding blue colored Little giant pumps are the same. The black series units are used in applications where you want the pump to blend into the surroundings. i.e. waterfalls. The different model #'s relate to the various cord lengths. I have purchased the blue colored ones for pumping off water from my pool cover, but with such a large differetial in price I decided to try the corresponding black one. Same pump lower price. Works great.

I installed the pump once the weather improved (rain, rain, rain and more rain on the Washington peninsula). Once I set the pump in place of the original, which lasted over 7 years, I plugged it in and it has run PERFECTLY ever since. I am very satisfied with the pumps pressure, as it jets up from a granite slab around 12-15 inches. I have rated this seller and product 5 stars as it has performed exactly as I wanted and expected, and the service and shipping was as described.

Bearings rusted shut in 2 months! Returned for refund

What junk! Oh, yeah pumps great for a month, 2 ...then freezes shut. Won't restart. I mess with it to get it turning again and it spun but froze up again. You could see the rusting bearings. What annoys me is the claim of "permanently lubricated..."I've had pumps that work for 5 or 6 years. Very bad item...that fortunately I was able to return to Amazon for refund.
