The second most essential part of a solar water heating system, after the collector.Almost indestructible, but eventually the bearings will wear out. If they get noisy it's time to replace the pump. Because the pump mounts haven't changed in decades, you can just unscrew the pump part and attach the new pump part. No soldering required.Just be sure to match the pipe size of the old one.
