So-so

I bought this on sale for about $40. I'm really glad I didn't pay full price for it. I am black (with a relaxer.) As much as I love the flat iron, the curling iron did not work as well for me as a Hot Tools ceramic does (which is much cheaper than the full-price chi.) I know that it's a larger size but I was expecting at least some curl. It's more of a bend, if I can make it do that. It's pretty much stayed in the box since I purchased it last year.

Good Iron but just a bit pricey

This is a very good iron. I got this for my sister and she liked it. At first, the spring clamps were too tight for her, and it hurt her hair. However, after a couple of use, she got used to it and now it's working great. It heats up pretty fast, gets warm in 15sec.There are three heat setting: low, med, high. And one power button.The cord can rotate 360 degrees so your cord doesn't get tangle while you iron. It feels very solid at a little bit over 1 pound. I also got a second one for my other sister. Overall, it's great curling iron.

Not Much to Look at, But Very Functional

I purchased the Chi curling iron to complement my new Chi dryer and brush. The premise was that all-ceramic based products would work best with one another and leave my hair with more moisture. There is a definite benefit to the brand, and the curling iron works well, but is a bit cumbersome and heavy and not very attractive. I have baby fine hair, so it only takes a matter of seconds to get a curl that holds most of the day. The device heats up very fast and gets very hot, so I still haven't figured out how to do the back of my head easily without risking a burn.

Excellent luxury for less

I have this watch for over 4 years, and it looks great, like a brand new. It is so beautiful and rare. I love it, makes you look like a million $.Unique, one of a kind, very classy piece that captivates attention. The best thing about it, is that you do not "belong" to the club of known brand watches. People always want to know what brand is it.Quality is excellent, didn't have any problems ever. The only downside, I paid full retail.For this price you would be crazy not to consider, since it has diamonds and is made to the perfection.

gift that keeps on giving

This is an excellent learning toy! I got this when i was ~12 or so, it replaced my "101 in 1" (also purchased from radioshack) that I had outgrown. I had so much fun with this kit and its EXCELLENT manual. When it comes to these educational toys the manual is really *ALL* that matters. If it isn't colorful and playful skip it!Now that I have kids of my own I can't wait to dust this off and let them play with it. I'll need to replace a few items first, blowing LEDs is just kinda what you do when learning electronics.Later on you'll want to get them a DMM (multimeter) and breadboards/bench powersupplies/soldering irons/oh my!. But this little kit will keep them busy enough for now!

Stimulates the imagination

Got these dolls for my granddaughter's 4th birthday. How can two floppy-armed, floppy-legged, hard-torso dolls be any fun? I have been amazed! Her imagination with them is just like seen in the Toy Story movies. The pull-string phrases are now all memorized, and I hear them at the most laughable times.Quality is good enough. After all, they are meant to be just like the ones in the movie, and they are. The pull-string is nothing like that from my childhood, i.e. mine were mechanical, had tension that wound something up, and lasted a long time. Instead, the string has no tension and simply activates a battery operated device. And that brings me to my only real complaint. Seems as if every battery operated toy now comes with three AG13 button batteries. They cost $3 each, or in some places you can get a six pack for $12. They wear out too fast and are not rechargeable. I'd prefer two rechargeable AAA any day.But, my granddaughter loves the dolls, and that's what matters.

My daughter loves the toys. My problem is that I went with Amazon first assuming that I was getting a good deal. When I went to Toys R Us the nxt day. They had the same product for 1/2 the price. I will not be coming to Amazon first again!

Having used this printer extensively for one year I have come to the conclusion that it is the best printer I have ever owned. Picture quality is superb; really, really good for a laser. This printer is large and heavy, but that seems to be related to it's paper handling capabilities. The printer is totally quiet until you print, then it warms up instantly and prints very fast. Print quality is very consistent, every time. The printer is used for office documents and small runs of promotional literature and works flawlessly. When you use the HP 4005dn you get the feeling this printer can handle way more than your throwing at it; this printer has "depth". There are cheaper, smaller units...but when you have a deadline and you need a bullet proof solution that does a great job, every time - this is it. The only draw back would be the price of the toner, which is a little high for volume printing.
