I spent months looking in stores and exploring the web to find a nice looking, solid, well organized piece of furniture to store my fairly large collections of CDs, DVDs and computer disks. Every product I looked at was inadequate in design or size - most were no more than junk; it began to seem that even in this day and age furniture makers were oblivious to the fact that most of us have massive media collections that just don't fit conveniently in regular bookcases. I kept coming back to this system on Amazon, but it seemed expensive and difficult to evaluate online. I decided to take a chance even though I am not usually comfortable buying furniture online sight unseen. This unit arrived on time and completely intact. The instructions were clear and simple, with precisely the correct number of pieces of hardware provided, and assembly was easy, requiring only a couple of ordinary tools. The assembled case is a sturdy, versatile unit that contains not only my entire media collection, but quite a few paperback books in addition. It is sturdy, and, best of all, very attractive. The price was for excellent quality hardwood veneers on all surfaces of every shelf and upright (not contact paper over flakeboard). I would happily purchase another item from this manufacturer.

The quality of the Oak Veneer is very good. I had a similar unit I was trying to match and this was perfect. Assembly will take you under an hour. It fits together very tightly use cam locks and a few dowels. There are plenty of shelves and shelf pins to arrange this the way you need it. A very nice looking unit once assembled and it holds lots of CD, BkuRays, etc. I would recommend it for anyone with a large collection of media.
