I love playing the Game. However, I would not recommend this set. As the case is heavy and the trays are plastic. Other games the cases are lighter of a different material and the trays are lined with felt and the tiles fit very nicely.

I love this set, but.....I assumed that the pushers were included.......NOT! I didn't realize until after I had received the set that I had to pay an extra $15 to get an accessory that is really necessary, so this plus shipping was a little pricey. If you order this set, make sure you get the pushers at the same time. It might save you about $9 on shipping! Sandy

I bought the deluxe Mah Jong set for my daughter and her husband, without knowing anything about Mah Jong. (That was probably my mistake.) I knew they played and I wanted to surprise them for Christmas. I guessed as to whether to get American or Chinese, but decided on American (guessed correctly). However, there was nothing in the description to tell me the deluxe Mah Jong was not really complete and ready to use. One also has to purchase cards for the game, and, according to my daughter, they are expensive. Had I known that, I would have bought them. I think for gift-givers, there should be more description of what is actually needed to use the games that are being sold. I feel like for about $80.00 I purchased a nice part of a game that I would have gladly paid up for to have the complete, ready-to-play set.
