5good AGP card
By Tushster
When I first ordered this card from Amazon, it was defective. It was overheating (even at idle), so I'm sure you can imagine how bad the temperature must have been when my system was under maximum load. I contacted PNY and they told me chances are the card was defective.I immediately contacted Amazon, and without hesitation, they shipped out a replacement within one business day. Kudos to Amazon.Anyways, on to the card. This card is one of the few AGP card which proves AGP isn't completely dead yet. With this card, I have been able to run every single game and application I've thrown at it (including Doom 3, FEAR, FarCry, Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, etc). I'm pretty much running everything at maximum detail. At first, I was getting some lag, but once you play around with the video card settings, along with your in-game settings, you should be able to run your programs at optimal performance.Installation is really simple and quite straight-forward. This card requires external power directly to the card. Even if you don't have an available power supply cable in your case, the card comes with a Y-cable, so you can play around with your cables to give yourself an available plug.If you are also looking at any ATI cards, let me tell you that the PNY Geforce 7600GS is proven to out-perform the AGP version of the ATI X1600Pro.Overall, if you are still running AGP on your system, and aren't ready for an upgrade to PCI-e, this card is exactly what you're looking for. It is the next highest AGP card in NVidia's series (with the GeForce 7800GS at the top of the line). This card is also Vista-ready, so your computer will be set for the next 2 or 3 years.

5PNY does it again!
By Steven Philips
My family is one of avid gamers. NCsoft had an update to their City of Heroes Game(which we love) that was more graphically intense for my old PNY Geforce4 Ti 4200 could handle (a great workhorse of a card).I thought I was going to have to update my motherboard to go to the new PCI-e slot to get a graphics card that would be able to handle the demands of the game.I saw this and decided it was worth the try and with no remorse what so ever this card weas bought and is working so beautifully that my desktop that is 4 years old still performs as good if not better than the Dell XPS notebook I purchased for portable game play.To say the least this card can breath life into older systems still running the AGP GPU configuration. Highly recommended. The drivers were a little tricky to install from the nVidia website. You will need to unpack them. The Autoexec. for the nvida Drivers didn't detect the card so using the Device manager update the drivers telling Windows where the folder created by the nVidia drivers is located and you are running up to speed.Graphics a beautiful and fast. Workiing across 2 monitors is nice as well. I am able to play a DVD on the TV and game at the same time without so much as a hickup.GO for this card!

5Good card for older systems
By Gerard Valere
I decided to buy this card to upgrade my old gaming rig (it was using a 128MB 6600GT before) and I must say it was worth it. Decent frame rates in games like F.E.A.R, Serious Sam 2 etc. Good buy if you are not on P.C.I Express user.Pros-1) Reasonable price2) Fast enough to run newish games at 1024x7683) Good accessories in the pack, (cables DVI converter etc)Cons-1) AGP is a dead horse (not biggie if you don't need the latest stuff)2) May need more power than your power supply can handle3) Not for the newbie, driver update is needed as CD doesn't come with the latest drivers.
