We have been carefully renovating our thirty year old house over the past 3 years. It seems like the front door is about the last thing that needed replacement. By now, we had definite ideas about style, quality, and value. Everything needed to flow together with the upgrades we had already made. This one-piece handle was perfect for us, elegant but not fussy. My husband warns that buyers should carefully measure their doors, particularly if they have existing doors, before ordering. One piece sets do not have many places to adjust. Things just have to fit. We are all extraordinarily pleased. Our old door sagged and you had to lift it while turning the lock in order to (maybe) get the door open. With this one, you just turn the dead bolt lock and then operate the door with a thumb latch. I anticipate than even when the arthritis in my hands gets much worse than it is now, I'll have no difficulty with this set.
