Sturdy Stand
By R. Litchfield
The Atlas Professional Mic Stand is kind of old-school. It is really heavy compared to most of the modern folding-leg-type of stands that are popular today. This, of course, is its strength for my application. I use a pair of large diaphragm condensor mics on a stereo bar for live recording and the folding type stands just don't have the heft to support the microphones. I am using an Atlas boom to gain a little more height and the rig is really stable. I like the all-black finish but the chrome finish is nice also. The stand should have a long life. I highly recommend this stand but be prepared to get some exercise when you lift it!

Perfect!

Absolutely perfect stand for my SE Reflexion filter. No more wobbling. Why I didn't buy this years ago is beyond me. Quality product.

Greg Nolan, Lead Singer in the band, "BackTracks"
By Gregory Nolan
Absolutely love my new stand. After messing with the old standard tripod style stands for years, I wised up and made the investment in the Atlas and it was worth every cent. It is rock solid on stage and when you lock in your preferred height it stays put period. Highly recommend this for all looking for a solid reliable mic stand. It is a "beast" at 27 pounds but again the stability it provides is worth the hefting.
