Great head in general
By TJ
First of all, this head is just remarkable in its design, and lightness. I'd easily recommend it to any medium-advanced lacrosse player looking for a new head. I must admit now, if you are one of those tricksters who enjoy tossing the ball up, and landing it on the walls of the head, look for a new one. This one has a cross that prevents that trick. I know, since I'm a trickster like this. :)It's extremely light; the head I used before was a STX Profile. I liked the head, but it did weigh a lot more than this head. This head has the same throwing style, in my opinion, as the Profile, but is lighter and has a lot more hold. It comes with a hard mesh, which is really nice since you can break it in to your own accord. I made mine with a lot of hold, and that is really useful in faking crankshots. If there are any negatives: At times, it kind of seems illegal (Rest assured, it is perfectly legal) because the ball tends to stay in for a while when tilted upside down. Also, I have mine attached to a Warrior Kryptolyte head. This combination made for a difficult fit with the head. I'm positive the fit is better with an STX head, but I sometimes wish they made their heads fully compatible with other brands. Of course, this is bad marketing. Other than that, the overall design is very attractive and there are no other negatives. If I can add any more positives: One is definitely the scooping. It is really helpful and effective in scooping. My sideshot and crankshot can be utilized with more confidence because of the hold.Overall, I would definitely recommend this. Not too pricey of a head for its advantages!
