I purchased this microphone system to teach Jazzercise classes because my previous microphone operated in the UHF range that can no longer be used. I didn't want to spend an arm & a leg for a system but needed something that would be durable and work well in different times of rooms. This does the job. There are a number of frequencies you can use and it has worked with no problem for at least a couple of years.

I have to EQ the heck out of the thing to get passable speech reproduction. Would never consider trying to mic a singer with it but if I suck out every ounce of 125kHz I possibly for speech it is ok. But that's minor compared to the nightmare that never ends when it comes to getting clean, consistent reception. Tough to avoid interferene on any channel though the chart on the AT website says that at least 4 should ok. I have found one channel that seems to do ok mos tof the time in our fixed location.

I looked high and low for a wireless mic to fit my performing style and found this one to be the best. I'm a puppeteer and perform in all sorts of different situations- small rooms, Large rooms, outdoors, large halls, malls, large stages...just about anywhere! This mic system has performed flawlessly for three different venues (so far) since I got it last week. My speakers are usually set-up behind the curtain I stand in front of and can pose an obvious feedback problem if I'm not careful with my stage movements. However, with this mic, my freedom is greatly increased! The sound quality is excellent as well and adjusting the EQ will benefit it even more. In fact, I liked it so much, I just ordered another one today as a back-up!!
