It's my only hammer
By J. Franco
I was just lost my Mini TiBone, so that's why I was looking and decided to review. I have been using this as my only hammer for 7 years for everything from million dollar customs in Telluride, CO to tile demo in track homes. Having tried a myriad of other hammers, this one is my favorite for durability, weight, and balance. (An Eastwing might last 20 years, but my elbow wouldn't) The rubber grip takes some getting used to if you are used to the Stiletto Hickory handles. It is not as well balanced but, the mini has been a good compromise to using a wooden handle or the larger TiBone for framing. It has been great for trim. The broad face doesn't leave hammer marks as easily as some other brands and the nail puller on the left side of the face make pulling nails in corners or very long easy to remove. Flicking a sinker out of a board requires almost no force, yet the grove will catch a trim nail in a base board. My motivation for getting this hammer was having watched a 200lb coworker hook a nail protruding from a concrete wall with the claw of his original straight handled tibone do pull-ups. At 7 years of building with one hammer the cost was worth it. The only drawback for me was when the hammer first came out the handle only came in a salmon color. (Got hassled for the "pink" hammer when it was new). Oh, and the shock absorption is superb despite the metal shank. Titanium doesn't ring.

Stiletto Hammers
By R. L. Solly
I now own two stiletto hammers and am extremely happy with them.Although my preference is with my TB15 the tbm14 gets a lot of use.It is good on nails and staples upto 90mm in dry timber and if the timber is wet I will drive the 125mm if there is not to many. After 30 odd years with a 20oz and 28oz estwing the stiletto is a dream to use due to the weight reduction and still drives like a heavier hammer.Lyn Solly New Zealand

Too Heavy
By Jag
This hammer was heavier than expected, weighing in at over 1.5 lbs. The handle adds too much weight to the hammer and light-weight is what I was looking for when buying this. It is also unbalanced, the logo on the front of the hammer adds weight to that side whereas the reverse side is indented. The last problem I had with it is the rubber on the handle which makes it too difficult to slide in and out of a hammer loop. It's a nice hammer and appears to be of good quality but it just won't work for me. I'm going back to my Stiletto 14 oz. Ruger Titanium head with a NEW hickory replacement handle.
