I was cheap and I bought the Zeikos brand tubes for half the cost. I returned them after 2 uses, the AF and TTL was not working most of the time. These Kenko tubes are built rock solid, and AF and TTL works everytime. I am much happier with the Kenko tubes.Also, I was concerned that the tubes may not allow for EF-S lenses, since the picture shows C/AF and not the C/AFs model. But I got the C/AFs model that works with both EF and EF-S lenses.

I'm very impressed with these extension tubes from kenko. I am a brand whore and only like to buy canon branded products. With that said, I just couldn't justify paying the price of canon's own extension tubes, which are sold separately and only come in two sizes. This set is a much better value and since contain no actual optical elements, are NO DIFFERENT then the canon versions.I bought these for occasional use in replacement of a true macro lens. If macro is a big part of your photography then it makes sense to have a dedicated macro lens. As for me, these tubes are more than sufficient. One more thing. When searching amazon for these, two separate results show up. These are the same tubes, why two search results come up with different prices makes no sense to me. These were purchased directly from amazon, much cheaper than the msrp as found in the other search result. These have less reviews, but are the same tubes. These are the C/AFs versions (ef-s compatible). Save money and buy these from amazon.

I don't write reviews, this will be my first. But this is one product I feel deserves one. In short, just buy it. You won't regret it for one second, and it's worth every penny to me.Build quality of the Kenko is excellent, feels very solid. The hinges of each tube engage very well, feels secure, and releases cleanly every time. The electrical contacts work exactly like they should, and in all combinations, unlike some others that have contact issues with one, two or all three tubes used together.I've used this on my EFS 60mm F2.8 Macro and my EF 50mm F1.4, and both feel secure and work perfectly with this. I even tried it on my EF 70-200 F4L and it works perfectly fine. The autofocus hunts if you don't have adequate light, as the falloff is about two stops with all 3 tubes together. But since I use it with my Macro lenses, I rarely use autofocus.Reading some of the reviews, I went into this purchase expecting this extension tube set to be perfect. I got perfection. And don't worry about it being compatible with only EF or EFS. The tube ordered from this page is compatible with both.
