I have had this cord set now for about 5 years, it has held up well after being used on abrasive surfaces (rough concrete driveways, gravel and dirt). The outer jacket is very thick and tough. Always flexible even in very cold weather. Much better price from Amazon than what I could find locally for a 10 gauge cord. I am very pleased at how well it has held up.Update 03/2013: I left this cord out in the yard most of last summer, using it to power a cement mixer. I just used it yesterday, and noticed how flexible it still is, and there is no fading or signs of weather damage from being left out in the sun so long.

This extension cord is EXACTLY what it is advertised to be, soft, flexible, rated for a 20 amp circuit, and lighted when there is power! I use it for power to an indoor sauna almost nightly, and have never experienced the cord being hot to the touch (thereby meaning it is handling the 20 amps safely and sufficiently).

Got this to use with the "Tripp Lite TLM615NC20 6-Outlet Power Strip with Metal Housing (15/20 Amp, 15 feet Cord)" which I have my pc plugged into, works great.
