This is a really great deal for a set of deepwell impact sockets. I usually stick to craftsman or snap-on for my hand tools, but all my air tools are IR. For the price of two name-brand sockets I got a whole set from IR! I haven't used them very long so I don't know how long they will last. They came in a nice case, and the sockets all have easy to read labels.

for 10 dollars a socket you can't go wrong! they're good quality, my only gripe is the case is bigger than it needs to be and would take up too much space in my toolbox if I used it.Most of my tools are snap-on, but when you get into sockets of this size $80 won't even buy you one socket from snap-on !I use them regularly and they show no signs of wear!

This set was purchased to supplement a smaller range set that I purchased from Snap-On many years ago - I needed the 1- 3/8 socket for a recent automotive application. The price of this set was about equivalent to a single Snap-on socket of that size. The IR set is very well finished and the case makes them easy to store when not in use (as I am not an automotive shop), so the use of this big set will be a few times a year. The set is made in China, so I cannot vouch for the quality of the metallurgy; however, it appears that IR has been very careful to assure the manufacturing of this part is consistent with what the consumer expects from an IR purchase.
