A triple-action fly repellent for horses that keeps flies away for days. The combination of natural pyrethrins and cypermethrin kills flies quickly and gives long-lasting protection. A sunscreen agent in this ready-to-use spray helps prolong the effectiveness. Made with a water-based formula that is gentle to the horse's skin. Application should be liberal. Reapply after 5 to 7 days for initial applications. As protection builds, reapply every 10 to 14 days as needed. Also reapply each time your equine is washed or exposed to heavy rain.

I have tried everything from Skin so Soft to other sprays for livestock and have been disappointed every time. the Tri-Tec is not cheap, but it is the only thing that I have found that works. I use the roll-on around the eyes and the spray over the horse's body and it lasts a long time. I've used it over many years now and nothing else comes close to keeping the flies off the horses all day on a trail ride. I've asked other horse owners for their recommendations and everyone tells me to get Tri-Tec.

Have had horses for over 35 years and tried just about every fly spray out there. Was always put offby the expense of Tri-Tec but once I started using it, found that it is the only effective fly spray available. You know, it's pretty sad when you are spraying your horse with a cheapy brand such as Bronco and the flies just sit there chewing on your horse enjoying the fly spray bath! Oh, and by the way Citronella has been proven to have absolutely NO effect on insect control so when you smell it in your fly spray you have to wonder why they bothered to add it. Tri-Tec is immediately effective, the flies won't touch your horse. It's not much fun riding a horse that is being harrassed by flies, getting agitated and sometimes bucking so the higher cost of Tri-Tecis definately worth it. Guess the only drawback would be that you have to hide your bottle, people like to borrow it cause they know it works!

This is the best fly spray I've used on my horses and I've tried a lot of them in my 62 years with horses.
