Have used these shoes for years. Each time I get them, it feels like I am walking on a pillow when I first use them. I wear them 24/7. (I put my orthodics in always) However, this time, they just seem hard inside. I don't feel the relief I usually feel, and nothing with me has changed. Maybe I just need to break them in more.

A very comfortable shoe. It also seems well made. It is a bit heavier than other running shoes I have owned, but I do not run, I bought it for walking. I am 6'6", 230lbs, it is supportive.UPDATE 2-19-13: I got new orthotics from a foot doctor and these shoes accept them perfectly. Also I have come to appreciate the construction and comfort of these shoes since I first reviewed them.I do not run, I am 61 with bad knees and one tender foot. I need stable, comfortable shoes so I can walk, and these are excellent shoes. I got them for $60 new, a great price. My size was on sale or something? I recently got another pair of white leather ones with Velcro fasteners for $30 on sale. I plan to use this brand of athletic shoes the rest of my life because they are so comfortable and stable.When the foot bed is removed to insert an arch support, there is another thinner foot bed as a base. It is not unfinished under the removable foot bed like so many shoes. This is an example of the quality of construction of these shoes. I highly recommend them.
