When quality matters...Wire gauge 4,6 (frame),8 and 11. The frame wire gauge is the most important wire. It is the wire that maintains the structural integrity of a Wire Metal Crate. Secure double door. Unique metal tabs for extra secure door. Front door overlaps on the top and the bottom to help prevent pinching. Side door overlaps on the top of the door for added protection. Free metal divider. Black epoxy finish. Thick wire gauge. Comes with carrying handle. Removable thick Polypropylene ( PP ) plastic pan for easy clean up. Most other crates use a lesser quality plastic ( ABS ). Easy suitcase style folding ( see photo ). No tools necessary. Your dog should be able to stand up and turn around comfortably. General rule of thumb is to purchase a crate 4-Inch longer (tip of nose to base of tail) and 4-Inch higher (feet to top of head). Excellent dog crate, very sturdy compared to other similar products. My only complaint is the door, which needs to be lifted slightly when opening and closing. I suppose it adds security to it, but it also makes it impossible to operate with one hand.

This is the best quality folding dog crate that I could find in this price range. Sturdy, heavy enough wire gauge, plastic-coated, no sharp edges that your pet can get hurt on, both side and end doors, divider included, carrying handle, easy set-up from folded position, good quality plastic pan, and doors have two different types of latches for extra security.

There are a few features on this crate that are excellent for safety. The paint or epoxy finish is strong and durable, I don't see any real sharp edges that dogs might hit and the doors have gravity drop feature which locks into place 2 metal fingers behind the horizontal bars and then the slide lock. There's no way a dog can get thru these doors.Highly recommended
