Product Description
This Milwaukee P-handle truck is a heavy-duty hand truck that has an 800-Pound load capacity. The P-handle allows for one hand operation. 10-Inch pneumatic tires cushion the load and allow the truck to roll over uneven surfaces. A vertical strap that goes all the way to the top of the hand truck along with the 50.5-Inch height makes this truck great for high-stacking applications. Inset wheels allow the truck to go through narrower aisles. This truck has a powder coated finish and ships fully assembled. Milwaukee-The Name the Pros Trust.

Great multi-tasker
By C. G. King
This hand truck serves me well in several ways making it a very worthwhile purchase. It's very sturdy and did well hauling the freezer up the stairs as well as helping me move furniture and boxes on several occasions. But its real value to me is that it can also be tipped down to function as a cart.I have a small log splitter that I love, but it's so low to the ground, it's hard on my back. I wanted a way to raise it up some without lifting it (too heavy for me). This cart is just right in that I can put a 3/4" piece of plywood on the bed to give it a solid and wider surface and still slip the toe-plate under the splitter's wheels. I move it to where I want it and tip it down so the splitter is now resting on the cart bed instead of the ground. This raises the splitter up enough that it's easier to use and is still very stable. I put a chuck under the truck's wheel although it doesn't seem inclined to move even when splitting the wood.I'm sure there are other uses I will find for the cart too, but I'm very pleased with how it has served me so far, especially with the log splitter since I'd looked all over to find some way to raise it that I could manage alone. If you're in the market for a hand truck, you might as well get one that can serve multiple purposes. I can definitely recommend this one.Update 11/16/2012: Per a reader who commented on my review I see that the current ad for this product shows two pictures, each showing a different product. The product I reviewed is the hand truck that has four wheels and a handle that extends up when the hard truck is converted to a cart. While the other hand truck might be fine, I can't say as I don't have that one.
