Waterproof and breathable Rip Stop Nylon shell with sealed seams is rated MVM 5000 for maximum breathability.
Features an Aqua-Barrier under-the-helmet hood to help eliminate seepage in the collar area. The hood easily stows in a hidden collar pocket.
Self-contained storage pouch allows the jacket to stuff into itself for convenient storage.
Chest map pockets feature waterproof zippers, Tour Masters Scoop Vent System and a mesh backing so they can be opened for ventilation when needed.
Three large waterproof bellows pockets maximize carrying capacity.
Waterproof zippered underarm exhaust vents allow warm air to exit from the jacket interior.

This TourMaster Cortech jacket seems well made and I'm hopeful will provide as long a service as my five-year old FirstGear jacket did. It has heavier duty zippers, sizeable pockets and good baffling, and so far has done a great job of keeping rain and mist away from me and not tricking down my neck...Only slight quibble is the statement that it is sized to fit over riding gear is only marginally correct. It will fit over your same-sized leathers or armor, but riders may want to order one size larger than their dry-riding gear to be sure - if you wear rain gear over. Mine is wearable, but more snug than I care for over both leather and/or mesh-armor -- where the old FirstGear was perfect if less well made. However, the TourMaster arm construction and length is clearly designed for riders and the cuffs, with both Velcro and elastic, are superb.Very well vented, seemingly very water resistant (almost nothing but butyl rubber is really water-proof, I've found) although I've not had it in a real frog-drowner yet, and a very good buy, but riders may want to take sizes into account, if you like your rain gear less snug... of course not all riders do.
