Classic
By Michael O'Bannon
It is great to see a lesser-known and seldom attempted classic that was at the top in its day. Good buy.

BEAUTIFUL MODEL
By Product Reviewer
This is a beautiful model of an unusual and very advanced automobile. It is NOT A TOY, but a near museum quality model. All doors open, as does the spare tire compartment and the trunk. Both sides of the hood open revealing the V12 engine. The steering wheel can turn the front wheels. The finish is smooth and glossy. The interior details are mostly excellent. When I was a boy, one of these was often parked in front of a store we regularly visited. It attracted my admiration then because of its advanced design and futuristic styling. I was surprised Pierce-Arrow only built five. One recently sold for over $2,000,000.This detailed model is highly recommended.

Big Boy Toy
By Stephen A. Campello
This model is a remarkably well made replica for the money. It incorporates numerous details to the interior and on the exterior, one side only depicts the unique completely enclosed spare tire mount within the fender. This would be a very expensive "toy" with which to play on the rug. It's a collectible die cast model of one of the most advanced cars of its period. The car featured an all steel body (very uncommon in a period when most companies were hanging their "tin" on wood frames) and a flowing design with no running boards (very rare for 1933). The headlamps were also unique in being faired into the fenders instead of being free standing "bullets" sitting on top of a rod or a fender. Pierce Arrow was another one of those symbols of American Excellence which vanished during the Great Depression. I rated it as 5 star fun (even though it is not really a toy) because of the pleasure it gives me to reflect on what humans can do when we apply a little imagination.
