I've owned this lamp and the small table version of it for a few years now. I liked these when I first saw them and still do till this day. They have a unique look to them, the deep red color in the glass looks cool when they are lit. They weight a lot and will likely last a lifetime.

If you use a Incadesent bulb as the discription sugjest the color comes out more in the shade than using a CFL. I used a 40w soft white ceiling fan bulb and works well for our needs and brings out the color like the picture in the discription. These Lamps are a bit pricey but they are works of art and you get what you pay for.
