Despite Audioquest's claim that DBS eliminates break-in period, my recent experience with DBS-equipped CV-8 speaker wires was not quite the case. It took about two weeks for CV-8 to settle and start sounding sweet and detailed. Having had good result with CV-8, I took the plunge and ordered a set of Sky interconnect with RCA plugs.Exactly the same as the previous reviewer had experienced, I also "fell from the sky" when the interconnect first arrived. Everything sounded thin and grainy, sound stage was confusing and bass was lacking! Is this what we get after spending hefty amount of money???After about 50 hours of play time, the interconnect has already started showing its potential. Comparing with my previous AQ interconnect King Cobra, Sky is even more revealing and at the same time sweet sounding. Micro details are easier to hear and bass is now much stronger. Sound stage is wide.Give it time. You will love this interconnect cable.
