I've collected Cross pens for many years being pleased with their style and performance. Recently I came across the Waterman Expert line, having a fountain pen as well as a couple of roller balls in which I prefer using the extra fine point fiber tip refills. While I like the dark line those pens provide, I find they're less practical for jotting quick notes. I purchased this pen to add ball point flexibility in a barrel that matches one of the fiber tips. I'm quite happy with the product.I purchased the pen online through Pen Showcase where I was able to save a considerable amount compared to the typical retail price. I really like this pen, but the gold colored round trim on top came off pretty soon. Not a real big deal, but for the price, you'd think it would stay on.
