When my mother fell and broke her arm we had to have a wheelchair and ASAP! When we couldn't find one locally I turned to Amazon. I read all the details about the wheelchairs offered and decided this chair was the best bet. The chair arrived in 3 days which worked out great since my mom had to have surgery and was in the hospital.As you can imagine the box is large, but the weight of the chair isn't too bad. When I opened the box all I had to do was take the chair out, take the plastic "cling wrap" off, unfold it and push on the seat until it "popped" into place! That's it! It was ready to go!! It is very well built, and it is easy to handle. The wheels are sturdy and pivot easily. It's a little tough to roll on carpet, but that is to be expected. The rubber ring on the back tire came loose while I was pushing it on carpet, but it went back into place easily and it hasn't happened since.The footrests can be a little tricky. They tend to slide out of position every now and then, but it's an easy fix. I just wiggle it back into place and it works fine.The chair is comfortable and has a very well made leather seat. There is a large velcro pocket on the back of the chair which came in handy with all the paperwork we had to keep up with.The chair folds up easily for transport. I do suggest locking the wheels before lifting it into your car. The wheels will spin otherwise. The levers on the side lock into place and the chair won't budge.Overall, I am extremely happy with this chair and it has made things a lot easier on us while my mother recovers. She feels secure in the chair and that's the most important thing! We saved a lot of money buying this from Amazon and I would do it again without hesitation. You won't be disappointed with this chair!

heavy to lift and kinda big to fit in the car (im a petite lady) but it is simply because the wheelchair is totally made of high quality and durable material. highly recommend it.
