I knew this was a relatively easy removal and installation. One 8mm screw, two latches, unplug the whole assembly from the car's wiring harness and the old one was off. This assembly comes complete with all the wiring attached and bulbs preinstalled! The Installation was quicker than the removal. Anyone can install these.The fit is perfect!After trying unsuccessfully buffing the headlight assemblies on my old set, I settled for getting new ones. I should've done this years ago.

There are 4 things that make the TYC my headlight choice:|1) Perfect drop-in fit in our 2002 Mercury Sable!2) Complete with headlight bulb, signal bulb & harness. This is unique in the aftermarket!3) High quality!4) Reasonable price!You will need to adjust the aim of the lights after installation, which can be a little tricky. Fot that, you can blame Ford, as there is very little clearance behind the adjuster.One complaint: Go easy on the connector mount. Mine cracked with almost no pressure. The factory part had the same problem...stupid design. I zip-tied & taped the harness afterward to be safe, but was disapponted...still the best part for the money.

This is a very high quality part and comes with headlight and side marker/turn signal bulbs pre-installed for you. The fit is perfect. It only took a few minutes to install. I found that as Sable/Taurus headlight assemblies age the plastic becomes dull and interferes with the headlight. Over time I started noticing the headlights seemed dimmer but changing bulbs didn't help. This new assembly made a huge difference and driving at night is much easier now as the road is brightly lit.
