I paid $12 for this cable at Amazon and with a 1.25% Silver Conductor it performs well at transferring digital audio from my Rotel to PSaudio DAC. You can pay a lot more for a better cable but for now this does the trick any $100 cable will do.

You can use this instead of a cheap yellow tagged video cable for a component with composite video out. I have an ancient laserdisc player with only red/white/yellow analog outputs, and this really helps get the best picture for those times I'm getting nostalgic and watch an old laserdisc video.....I'm using a couple more for digital audio interconnects, and you can't beat the sound. It's definitely an improvement over what I was using previously (Monster cables of different generations).

I've had this cable hooking my receiver to my computer since I got this thing a couple months ago. It has functioned flawlessly, but I wish I would have gone for the longer (6'?) one to have a bit more wiggle room during setup.
