I ordered this hitch receiver for my 2002 Dodge Ram (no factory tow package). The quality of the receiver and hardware was top-notch - very heavy, solid materials, excellent finish (no rough edges, glossy paint well applied), overall gave me the impression of a high quality product. The instructions are simple but adequate. I think it took me a total of about 20-25 minutes from start to finish for the installation. Even the "fishing" of the bolts into the truck (the ones that have to go inside of the truck frame) went smoothly. After reading other reviews, I thought this might be a pain and take a significant amount of time, but for both the bolts, this process went very smoothly using the included wire to fish through the frame tube. The receiver kit also included a spacer bracket that is apparently needed for proper fitment on some vehicles. Mine didn't need it, with everything fitting perfectly with no shimming or additional hardware required.The final result is a receiver that looks as good as or better than a factory install. The receiver doesn't extend past the bumper (with no ball installed in the receiver opening), and it tucks in right below the bumper.Couldn't have been more pleased with this product. Great price, huge savings over having it done by a shop, and minimal effort on my part.

Ordered the wrong one, sent back, got the right one. Install was quick. Funky wiring tool made install easy. Look at the installation video online to help do the install before you start. Instructions not that clear. Very heavy duty construction.
