K&N Replacement Air Filters are designed to increase horsepower and acceleration while providing excellent filtration. The air filters are washable and reusable and are custom designed to fit into your existing factory air box. Its high flow cotton gauze air filter is built to last for the life of an automotive or motorcycle engine. K&N air filters consist of four to six sheets of cotton gauze layered between two sheets of aluminum wire mesh. This media is then pleated and oiled to enhance its filtering capabilities and overall performance. These air filters allow dramatically more air into the engine. They are backed by a limited manufacturer warranty.

when i first saw the 38-9207 k&n air filter i was scared for it not to fit my mitsubishi nativa 2.8 litre diesel but reading allot i make the purchase! the car feels totaly different when you installed this item i did a quater mile run with a friend with the exact same car and the results were totally approved i will recomend this item to any mitsubishi 4m40 diesel and 4d56 diesel engines is one of the best oem perfect fit upgrades you can do to your truck.

This is a perfect fit for my Gen.2 pajero. Been a K & N user for year for 5 different cars and for me this is the best air filter ever!!!

Damn. Obviously good quality, but doesn't come close to fitting the air intake in my car, even if I've chosen the car from the list. Apparently, the filters in US- and European-models aren't the same. There should be some kind of information about this...
