Large, 1 gallon, ABS plastic tank condensate unit pumps feature a vertical-type pump with stainless steel motor shaft and galvanized steel tank cover. Discharge is a 3/8" O.D. copper tube. Pump features a safety switch that can be connected to shut down the air conditioner condenser or wired to an alarm to warn of possible tank overflow. Pump is rated for high efficiency gas furnace applications that produce an acidic condensate. Thermally protected motor is UL and CSA listed. I bought this because my old condensate pump quit working after 10 years. I went to HD and bought the heaviest one they stocked and it lasted a week. This was $100 more than that one but it is so much better and the performance is fantastic. This one may out last me. (Make sure that you put clamps on the discharge hose. This pump will blow it right off and wash your ceiling if you don't.) :)

Installed this little pump to take care of a small hand wash sink without busting up the concrete for a real drain. As it's on the other side of a wall from the sink, the sound it makes is muffled and barely noticeable. Top is easy to remove for inspection and cleaning if needed. This pump is solidly built and has been trouble free for the past year.
