i love amazon.com for this reason! this part for my car (2004 saab 9-3) was half the price anywhere else. it came in two days and of course was free shipping with my prime membership. thank you amazon for getting me the part to fix the darn fan blower for less money!

This is General Motors part number 90512510 or AC Delco part number 15-80845. After reading several Saab blogs when my blower motor continued to blow even with the car turned off, I learned it was possibly due to a faulty blower motor resistor. I searched part 90512510 and came across the first reviewer in Amazon who said this part worked for his Saab even though it appears to have been designated for certain Cadillac models. Amazon had the best price so I ordered it. Took me about an hour to install. See attached pictures. The hardest part was disconnecting the electrical plug (orange/black wire) from the resistor. But, the new resistor fixed the problem. (I think I blew the old resistor on a very cold day by jumping into my car and jacking up the fan speed to the highest speed too fast.)

Wow. I too own a 2004 Saab 9-3 and as above the A/C-heater blower runs after the motor shuts off. The local Saab mechanic said it's usually the resistor and the Saab forums agree. After much searching around with prices from $200 (used) to over $300, I see that good old Amazon has it. So rather than being charged $300+ from the local mechanic plus labor, I'll take a chance and order this from Amazon.Stand by for a follow-up when I receive the part.PS For those of you who don't know, Saab is out of business and has not produced a car since 2010 or 2011. Parts are becoming hard and expensive to find.
