Okay WOW! My mom ordered me the snugglewool blanket, snugglewool crib mattress pad, and I ordered the changing table cover (which currently I am using in the bassinet until she grows out of her bassinet and then I will use as the changing table cover) Anyhow, it's SO soft and snuggly (hence the name) but my baby LOVES IT! I use the blanket on our bed right now (baby is 6 weeks old now) but very good, keeps her warm and cool all at the same time! We fold blanket in half at night and lay her in the middle! We love it and so does she! Would reccommend to ANYBODY! Crib mattress pad fits perfect and is SUPER soft and fluffy! Blanket we use all the time needs to be combed every now and again, but super nice!

I am not sure what to think. Since I was only able to see this ONE that I actually purchased in person, I don't know if it is normal or not for the wool to be so - kind of coarse and not so snuggly. I had this impression that it would be soft, fluffy, comfy, snuggly - but it's rather stiff and coarse. I've tried to wash it (correctly I am sure), I've been gentle with it - but it's been this way since out of the bag. Perhaps mine is defective or I did something wrong - I have no idea or anything else to compare it to.Baby seems to sleep better now that I've taken it OUT of the crib as well - so this didn't work for us - plus it's pretty expensive. Wanted to love it - but didn't.

I love this blanket. We use it for sleeping. It is good size (not too big for a standard crib), pretty warm and very light. It doesn't cling to the body when my baby turns around like other cotton blankets do, which is a huge plus since he gets frustrated if something is preventing him from moving and he moves a lot now that he is 9 months old. It's also one of the reasons why my baby stays covered all night despite constant movement. I usually use a thin cotton blanket that will wrap around his body and then Snuggle wool on top. The only drawback I would say is the strong sheep smell at the beginning. I hand washed it a couple of times and air dried it many times before the smell went away completely. I would recommend this product.
