The blanket is stunning! It's also very heavy. Warning, please wash these blankets prior to use. I was so excited when I got the blanket that I neglected to wash it before sleeping under it. The smell of the chemicals used in the manufacturing process is very strong and caused an allergic reaction. After I washed the blanket, it was fine. Also, washing it made it even more soft. I used a fabic softener in the wash and dry cycle. I washed in cold water, and dryed on the lowest setting (permanent press, air only) possible. It's very important not to use heat in the laundrying process.
