I love Nambé's contemporary Southwest design. We've purchased several of their items over the years and also given them for gifts. We bought this chip and dip set in 2007. It looked wonderful when new. The wood serving plate still is. However, the metal dip bowl has deteriorated with age. It now has some scratches and marks on it. Worst of all, the bowl surface layer is getting a blotchy mottled look. If you run your finger of the blotches you can tell that the outer most surface has actually come off in those spots. The scratches are probably our fault for letting it come in contact with metal utensils. However, I have no idea what caused all the blotches or if there is anything we can do to fix it. This chip and dip set is still functional but it is no longer the beautiful work of art it was when new.

Best gift I could have gotten my wife. It was a good price for Nambe as well and it showed up quick.

This set is beautiful - it's the most elegant chip and dish/veggie and dip bowl the recipient has ever seen. It's simply spectacular and will change any party environment! It's a great wedding gift. I gave it as a thank you and it made the thank you even more special.
